What passo.build does

passo.build takes an app built with a coding agent or an app builder and turns it into something that runs in production, on a cloud account you own.

Most generated apps get stuck in the same places:

  • the frontend works, but nobody knows where the backend should live;
  • secrets or API keys sit too close to the browser;
  • the app needs a database, file storage, background jobs, auth or webhooks, and those pieces were never made explicit;
  • the cloud choice is made by habit instead of cost, region and fit;
  • the coding agent has no durable plan, so fixes disappear after a context reset.

passo.build gives that app one guided path. Every project moves through the same six stages:

StageWhat happens
DiscoverConnect a repository, or describe the product you are about to build.
DefineAnswer a few product questions. The result is a build plan your coding agent can execute.
SecureThe repository is reviewed. Blocking findings must be resolved, or accepted with a recorded reason, before release.
DesignThe architecture is derived from what the app actually is, and the delivery files are generated.
PrepareThe same architecture is priced across providers and regions, on equal terms.
ReleaseDeploy through your own cloud account, or one we hold for you, with a record of what went out. After that, operate what runs.

Two ways to use it

SurfaceBest forWhat happens
Web consoleSeeing and approving each step in the browser.You move through the six stages, answer questions and confirm the release.
Your coding agentLetting Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another MCP client do the build work.The agent connects to your project, takes tasks from its plan, does the work and hands back evidence. The stages and gates are the same.

Both surfaces write to the same project, so you can start in the console and continue in your agent.

What passo.build is not

  • It is not a "deploy whatever the agent generated" button.
  • It does not ask you to learn cloud architecture vocabulary.
  • It does not replace your coding agent. It gives the agent a plan, a place to report, and gates it cannot skip.
